What would be the post-pandemic daily rigour?

What’s the modus operandi for the future? Who is crafting the future governance laws? Do we have any fool-proof ideas for future workflow?

Probably, it’s time to revisit the entire calendar of life from scratch.

Assuming the virus fades out and optimistically, maybe the majority are vaccinated. And the world aims to kick back into action. Are we then safe enough to go back to our old routines?

The bigger question is not about working from home or maintaining social distancing, but it’s far beyond it. The interim arrangement that the world made has been a make-shift arrangement and does not warrant a subscription into a future way of life.

Virtual schools, virtual offices, virtual events, virtual get-togethers, virtual meet-ups etc., are perhaps not the best practices of human life. Man is a social animal, and we certainly need to interact in person.

- Do we still need a seven days a week and 31 days month and 365 days year calendar?
- Do we still need an 8-hours workday schedule?
- Do we still need students to appear for examinations to prove their skills?
- Do we still need Moms to double up at home and work?

And many more questions.

In a pandemic-hit world, the most significant currency, perhaps, shall be virtues like trust, honesty, happiness, compassion, care.
It’s time we rethink our priorities.
